Nash is a member of The Kliq, an influential backstage group that also includes Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. He is also one of the three founding members of the New World Order (nWo), along with Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall. Nash was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015 .

Nash won a total of 21 championships , including becoming a five-time world champion (four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and one-time WWF Champion) and a 12-time tag team champion. He held the belt for 358 days.
