Leaked Footage: Major WWE Star Set to Return at Bad Blood as Cody Rhodes and Pat McAfee Caught Discussing Comeback Before Podcast!

A major WWE star’s return could be announced imminently after Cody Rhodes dropped a huge hint in a podcast appearance with Pat McAfee.

This Saturday WWE will host Bad Blood from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, marking the return of the premium live event for the first time in two decades.

In the main event, Roman Reigns is set to make his in-ring return nearly six months after his record-breaking undisputed universal title run came to an end at the hands of Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.

The rivals are set to put their differences aside and team up to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag-team main event.

While fans have been captivated by Rhodes’ long-running feud with The Bloodline, the American Nightmare recently dropped a major hint that there could be even more to get excited about.

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Rhodes revealed that a vignette is planned for the event that will have ‘big title implications’.

‘[His title] Not on the line this weekend, but there is something that happens at Bad Blood.’ Rhodes said.

‘I guess a video package or vignette that’s going to play in the show. I got to keep it vague. There are big title implications for Crown Jewel. Sorry for being so vague, but a little spoiler there.’

Crown Jewel is the next major premium live event in WWE’s calendar and will take place at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

WWE have historically pulled out all the stops for their Saudi shows and Rhodes has set speculation into overdrive after dropping yet another hint that this one will be no different.

In a clip shared on Rhodes’ Instagram, McAfee asks the 39-year-old if the ‘big guy’ is coming back this week, and Rhodes responds with: ‘which one?’.

McAfee then insists, ‘Okay. Awesome. I don’t know. You told me enough. You just told me enough.’

While there are a number of stars the pair could have been referring to, two that stick out as potential candidates are former WWE champions The Rock, and Brock Lesnar.

One potential candidate is The Rock, who has been linked with facing Rhodes at WrestleMania next year
The pair have unfinished business after clashing on night one of Mania in April
Another is Brock Lesnar who has been absent from WWE programming since losing to Rhodes at SummerSlam in 2023

Having made a triumphant return to wrestling earlier this year culminating in a match at WrestleMania, The Rock has since embarked on a hiatus from the ring to star in ‘The Smashing Machine’, a film about the life of MMA pioneer Mark Kerr.

However, in his most recent appearance on RAW he alluded to having unfinished business with Rhodes, leading to a potential showdown between the pair at WrestleMania 41 next year.

Lesnar meanwhile has been absent form WWE programming for more than 12 months, with a rumoured return earlier this year reportedly scrapped after his name was allegedly mentioned in the ongoing legal case against Vince McMahon.

However, multiple reports suggest the former UFC champion could soon make his return to the ring, particularly after WWE chief Triple H gave a major update to Mail Sport on his status with the company.
