Seth Rollins recently returned to Monday Night RAW and cost Bronson Reed his Last Monster Standing Match against Braun Strowman. WWE legend Teddy Long was left surprised by The Visionary’s return.
Several weeks ago on RAW, Rollins was taken out by Reed. The former NXT North American Champion hit Rollins with multiple Tsunamis, writing him off television in the process.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long told Mac Davis that Rollins’ return was “surprising.” The former SmackDown General Manager was also impressed with Rollins getting himself over with the WWE Universe.

“That was kind of surprising. I like the way he came down, got himself over right there, right in there. So that was very good, man. Good to see Seth back, man,” said Long. [13:06-13:22]

Do CM Punk and Drew McIntyre hate each other off camera? Pro wrestling legend thinks SO

During the same conversation, Teddy Long discussed the idea of a match between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed.

The former SmackDown General Manager has high hopes for a match between both superstars.

“Well, we just don’t know right now. You can never predict professional wrestling, you know what I mean? Because they’ll make a decision at night and change it in the morning. So you just don’t know, but I think that would be good. Seth and Bronson, I think that would be really good,” added Long. [13:23-13:43]

When was Seth Rollins last seen in action?

Seth Rollins was last seen in action at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on July 6, 2024, when he unsuccessfully challenged Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The match initially started as a singles contest but turned into a Triple Threat bout after Drew McIntyre cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.

Rollins lost the title to McIntyre at WrestleMania XL before Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and won the title within minutes, courtesy of CM Punk’s attack on McIntyre.

Rollins was also the Special Guest Referee for Punk’s match against McIntyre at SummerSlam.

It remains to be seen if The Visionary will make his in-ring return against Reed, who has been on a terrorizing run on Monday Night RAW.
