Rhea Ripley to Replace Damian Priest? 5 Surprises That Could Unfold on RAW After Bad Blood

Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest

WWE will head to the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, this Monday for the post-Bad Blood episode of RAW. The build-up to Crown Jewel 2024 will also kick off on the show.

Bad Blood featured three matches from the red brand. CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell, while Damian Priest came out on top in his contest with Finn Balor. Additionally, Rhea Ripley failed to capture the Women’s World Championship after Raquel Rodriguez returned to help Liv Morgan.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at five possible surprises for WWE RAW this week:

#5. Rhea Ripley could replace Damian Priest with Jey Uso

Damian Priest got revenge on Finn Balor for the latter’s betrayal at SummerSlam, but Rhea Ripley was not able to achieve the same against Liv Morgan due to Raquel Rodriguez’s surprise return.

Following Bad Blood, Damian Priest stated in the press conference that The Terror Twins would now have different paths. So, The Archer of Infamy would probably move on from his feud with The Judgment Day, while The Eradictor will continue to fight them.

WWE has teased a new on-screen romance between Rhea Ripley and Jey Uso for the past few months. It is possible that the Intercontinental Champion officially becomes Mami’s new boyfriend on RAW and helps her against The Judgment Day going forward.

#4. The New Day could break up on WWE RAW

Kofi Kingston got Xavier Woods an Intercontinental Championship match against Jey Uso for the upcoming episode of RAW.

The Stamford-based promotion has been hinting at a fallout between The New Day for a while, so it is possible that they could finally implode this Monday. Kingston could unintentionally cost Woods the title match against Uso, which may lead to his partner finally reaching breaking point and unleashing an assault on the 43-year-old.

#3. Sami Zayn could win the World Heavyweight Championship

After he demanded a title match from Gunther for weeks, Sami Zayn will finally get to battle The Ring General for the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW this Monday.

The Underdog from the Underground is the man who ended Gunther’s historic 666-day Intercontinental Championship reign at WrestleMania XL. And he could dethrone him again on RAW. It would be a massive shock for the first two-hour episode of the red brand in twelve years.

Zayn winning would also set up him vs. Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel next month. The Undisputed WWE Champion will likely win that match, so taking the title off Gunther on RAW would protect him from getting pinned at the Saudi extravaganza.

#2. Goldberg could attack Gunther

If Gunther drops the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW, he will almost certainly either get pinned or be subject to a submission. However, WWE could protect him from a clean loss by having Goldberg cost him the title match.

The WWE Hall of Famer could distract The Ring General to help Zayn win the title and then Spear him after the match as payback for the disrespect the current champion showed him at Bad Blood.

With Crown Jewel coming up next month, it would also allow the company to set up Goldberg vs. Gunther for the event. The Ring General could redeem himself by retiring the legendary star once and for all. It would be the perfect clash for a show in Saudi Arabia.

#1. Drew McIntyre could quit on WWE RAW tonight

Drew McIntyre spent the majority of the year feuding with CM Punk. He got the upper hand over The Best in the World after their first encounter at SummerSlam but then lost back-to-back matches against him at Bash in Berlin and Bad Blood.

After a brutal Hell in a Cell Match this past Saturday, The Scottish Warrior may take some time off from WWE. He could do so by quitting on RAW this Monday and returning on the road to Royal Rumble.

The former seven-time WWE champion was reportedly “banged up” after the match and was legitimately busted open when Punk hit him with a toolbox during their match. He had to get sixteen staples to close the wound.
