Speights mentioned that it was the first time she had tried baking a cake.

The cake was a three-tier Halloween-themed birthday cake, with the base covered in black icing. The middle tier resembled a pumpkin, while the topmost tier resembled the face of a ghost. Speights also added small decorations like mini pumpkins, eyes and skulls to enhance the Halloween theme she was going for.

In her previous stories, she revealed the reason for baking the cake by posting a picture of a shopping cart along with a caption explaining the reason.

“My son requested last night that I make him a homemade bday cake this year instead of buying him one. The cake had to be done by today,” Speights wrote in her story.

In the next story, she posted a picture of an icing jar and accompanied a caption expressing her feelings.

“I’ve never made a bday cake before… @_jacole makes my niece bday cake every year and soon as prynce heard that he requested I do the same!” Speights wrote.

Speights had her son Prynce Almario Chalmers from a previous relationship with the former Miami Heat player Mario Chalmers.
