Roger Federer Revels in Romantic Moments with Wife Mirka as His Retirement Life Flourishes in the City of Love

Roger Federer is a champion in both personal and professional lives. Not only did he shine as an athlete, but his dedication as a husband and a father deserves applause. While Federer retired in 2022, his many other endeavors, such as brand collaborations, charity, and more keep him busy. The Swiss legend attended the 2024 Laver Cup in Berlin with his twin daughters and admired Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz. Then, he enjoyed a special trip to the City of Love with his wife Mirka.

Before he visited the 2024 Shanghai Masters for a special event, he chose to prioritize his family as he had always done. The former ATP number one shared their visit to the iconic Dior Museum in Paris on his Instagram story.

Federer shared photos of the iconic wall highlighted with Vogue’s cover editions and the inside of the museum showcasing the designs of the famous luxury brand. At the end of his story, he added a selfie with his beloved better half. Federer’s selfie with Mirka delighted their followers, channeling the amazing husband quality Federer possesses.

On the other hand, Dior has been a favorite choice in the Federer family. Last year, the Swiss couple attended Paris Fashion Week, where they graced front-row seats for Dior and Chanel with Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann. Mirka and Roger Federer also attended Dior’s Spring/Summer 2022 show in Paris in 2021 after they were specially invited by the brand. This explains their preference for the luxury brand. When Anna Wintour asked Federer to co-chair the Met Gala 2023, he wore a custom Dior black tuxedo that showed his love for the brand.

Federer’s love for his wife, Mirka, is an inspiration among the fraternity. While the Swiss legend offered great hard work and spirit to uphold his glorious career, his wife Mirka also made an interesting contribution. The Swiss legend often talks about how Mirka Federer fueled his spirit to become a legend in the sport.

Federer has always confessed about Mirka’s contribution to his career. In an interview with El Paris, the Swiss Grand Slam winner revealed that he was “more the player” before his wife disciplined him.

We met at the Sydney Games when I hadn’t won a title yet, so she has been with me almost every step of the way. She has helped me a lot during difficult times, and she has played a very important role in keeping me motivated. She also taught me what discipline is, because she is incredibly disciplined; I was more the player, the artist, if you will, and I needed guidance in that aspect,” said Federer.

The former ATP number one also mentioned how Mirka worked harder in his life’s second innings to take care of their four children. He delved deeper into how Mirka made sure Federer could peacefully perform on tour while she managed the household.

Roger Federer’s great tennis career had many people’s contributions behind it. While Federer’s team and his coach worked very hard, his wife Mirka also did her part to fulfill her husband’s dreams. Such resilience and support made Federer a legend, and the way he acknowledges it showcases why Federer deserves the respect he gets.
