The Nia Jax in 2024 is far different from the person that many fans saw during her first run in the company. During her first run in her career, many fans criticized her for being an unsafe worker that was constantly injuring others. However, when she returned in 2023, Jax showed how much she had grown in a professional wrestling ring.

Jax Was A Dominant Force
Jax joined the main roster in 2016. She was a powerhouse in the women’s division and was inserted into some pretty big matches. Jax competed at Survivor Series 2016 for the RAW women’s team and also challenged for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 33. Her time in WWE also continued to see her consistently featured in the title picture. But, she did not get there until a few years later.
Jax Wins Her First World Title
She Beat Alexa Bliss At WrestleMania 34
In the build-up to WrestleMania 34, Jax was in a storyline with Alexa Bliss that saw her initially as an ally. However, it was revealed that Bliss was using and bullying Jax the entire time. Jax eventually learned about this and immediately went after Bliss. In her only babyface run in WWE, Jax defeated Bliss at WrestleMania 34 to become the RAW Women’s Champion.
Jax’s first reign with a world title, however, was not a great one. She was rushed to be a heel when it came to feuding with Ronda Rousey. After that feud, Jax floated through different storylines and teamed with Tamina Snuka.
Jax Enters Two Royal Rumble Matches
One Night, Two Matches For Jax
In 2019, Jax was still teaming with Snuka. Mostly this involved Snuka supporting Jax in her championship pursuits. However, this year also saw Jax make history. She entered the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. She is the first, and only, person in history to have done this. She even managed to eliminate Mustafa Ali before she was eliminated by Rey Mysterio.

The Two Found Success Together
Jax returned to WWE in 2020 and this time saw her teaming with Shayna Baszler for a majority of the time. It was actually a very successful run for both of them. They managed to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on two occasions.
Their duo eventually disbanded and Jax ended up taking more time off WWE. However, during her absence, WWE released her.
She Returned To WWE In 2023
Jax Shocked Everyone At The Royal Rumble
In 2023, fans and wrestlers alike were shocked when they saw Nia Jax return in the women’s Royal Rumble match. She was the 30th person to enter the match. But, it was not successful for her.
However, it did take 11 people to eliminate Jax from the match. But, it was not the last time that they would see her. Jax returned full-time to WWE in September 2023 and immediately pursued the Women’s World Championship. It saw her feud often with Rhea Ripley, but she never managed to take away the title from her.
Queen Nia Takes Over
She Went To The Top Of WWE
In 2024, Jax managed to finally get that big win and became the Queen of the Ring. Through a defeat of Lyra Valkyria at King and Queen of the Ring. Jax was the Queen and was joined by Tiffany Stratton in an alliance that continues to last to this day.

At SummerSlam 2024, Jax received a WWE Women’s Championship match against Bayley. It was her reward for winning the Queen of the Ring tournament. And, at the PLE, Jax managed to capture her second-ever world title during her time in WWE.
Jax had not held a championship since 2018 before this most recent WWE Women’s Title win. She has asserted herself as a dominant force on the roster. With Stratton by her side, Jax has celebrated her reign and will not allow anyone to get in the way of her success.
