CM Punk is going home.
The start of Monday’s Raw saw a bandaged and battered Punk come out to talk about his match against Drew McIntyre on Saturday, saying that he was banged up, and he didn’t know what the future held for him. After he told his haters to keep doubting him, He said he was going to go home and see his wife, as he hadn’t seen her in five weeks,
“I’d like to say I’ll see you soon, but I just don’t know,” Punk said. “Thank you.”
As Punk was leaving, Seth Rollins emerged. The two had a staredown as Rollins shoulder-checked Punk as he made his way to the ring. After making his entrance, Rollins said that he hoped Punk made his return soon so that he could retire him for good.
After spending most of the year feuding with Drew McIntyre, the two faced off Saturday in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. In a brutal, bloody match, Punk defeated McIntyre to end their rivalry.
