Randy Orton Defeats Je’Von Evans in a Thrilling WWE NXT Showdown!

Je’Von Evans had made it no secret that he was a massive fan of Randy Orton. Tonight, his dream came true when he got a chance to face the legend one-on-one.

The big St Louis main event went down with St Louis native, Randy Orton on NXT. Randy took a shot at the hot, up and coming star, Je’Von Evans. It was a tougher battle for Randy than he probably thought. The speed and agility of Evans had Orton on his toes the entire match. But, the veteran instinct of Orton was just too much to handle. They tried, what would’ve been, one of the craziest RKO counters of all-time, when Je’Von Evans did a spinning splash off the top rope, but Orton just couldn’t catch him correctly. After the fall, Orton picked up Evans and hit a regular RKO for the victory. Praise between the two was shown after the match.

Je’Von Evans has a huge future in WWE and NXT, and tonight was a huge step towards becoming the man of the future. But, for tonight, the legend reigns supreme.
