It’s nine years down and “forever to go” for LeBron James and his wife, Savannah.
On Wednesday, the wife of the Lakers superstar paid tribute to her husband on Instagram as they celebrated their wedding anniversary.
“9 years down (21), forever to go!! Cheers to us my love!!🥂Happy Anniversary!!#JamesGang,” Savannah captioned the post, which featured the couple toasting at the dinner table.
James, who married Savannah in 2013, also shared a message of his own, in which he swooned over his biggest supporter in an Instagram story.
“Happy Anniversary,” the 18-time NBA All-Star wrote alongside a pic of the pair from their Vanity Fair photo shoot. “P.S. You so damn sexy!! Wow.”
James, 37, and Savannah first crossed paths as high schoolers in 2002. The NBA power couple are now parents to three children: sons Bronny, 17, and Bryce, 15, and 7-year-old daughter Zhuri.
The release of the Vanity Fair spread arrives just before the start of James’ 20th season in the league. The four-time NBA champion resigned with the Lakers over the summer, agreeing to a two-year, $97 million extension with a third-year option for 2024-25.
James previously expressed a desire to play with his son Bronny, a highly touted prospect who will enter the college ranks in 2023. Ohio State fans recently made a recruiting pitch to Bronny during the Buckeyes’ 21-10 win over Notre Dame earlier this month.
In addition to Ohio State, Michigan, UCLA, USC, Memphis, and Oregon, are said to be other schools making a push for Bronny, according to multiple reports.
As for James, he and the Lakers will open the regular season on Oct. 18 against the defending champion Warriors.
