Anthony Edwards has been making headlines for his astonishing NBA career — and for his allegedly large brood.
The professional basketball player reportedly became a dad in 2023. He has allegedly welcomed three children with three different women, and filed for paternity of a possible baby No. 4.
The athlete, famously known as “Ant-Man,” discussed his family on Netflix’s “Starting 5” documentary series, which premiered in October 2024.
Edwards reportedly became a dad in September 2023 when a woman named Daja, whose last name is not public, gave birth to a baby girl named Aris.
“Your Daddy was right there waiting to meet his 1st Born,” the new mom captioned an Instagram Story photo of the father-daughter duo at the time.
She and Edwards have not addressed their connection further. The Minnesota Timberwolves player did not appear in any public photos from Aris’ 1st birthday party in September 2024.
When Edwards’ lawsuit made headlines the following month, Daja cryptically posted via Instagram that she was “minding [her] business.”
Amir with Ally
In October 2023, a woman Atlanta Black Star identified as “Ally D” gave birth to a baby boy believed to be Edwards’ second child.
According to the outlet, she wrote via Instagram Stories that she is “a great mom” who “even prayed for the other children [be]cause end of the … day” they are her son’s siblings.
The little one is named Amir, according to his mom’s Instagram bio — and she once called the newborn his dad’s “twin.”
Ally also shared a cryptic upload during Edwards’ October 2024 scandal, simply posting multiple crying-laughing emojis alongside, “Whewww childdd.”
Aislynn with Shannon
Edwards debuted his relationship with girlfriend Shannon in 2020, and she revealed her baby bump three years later.
“Mom – a title just above the QUEEN,” the then-expectant star captioned maternity shoot photos via Instagram in December 2023.
The following year, Shannon and Edwards threw a baby shower and welcomed baby girl Aislynn.
Shannon previously welcomed a son with rapper Chief Keef.
She posted a tribute to both of her children in May 2024, gushing, “Krue my first born Thank you for growing me up Thank you for being my reason my motivation my ride or die we’ve experienced it all together
“Aislynn (Ladybug)Thank you for making me soft gentle and a lot more patient !” Shannon continued. “Thank you for bringing me peace.”
