Rafael Nadal is the most successful tennis player in Roland Garros history, with 14 titles. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Nadal’s net worth is estimated at $220 million.
Forbes said the tennis player will earn $23.3 million in 2024 and can charge up to $1 million per appearance at the event.
According to the ATP prize money rankings, Nadal ranks second after Novak Djokovic, with a total income of up to 134.9 million USD from achievements on the court.
In addition to competing, Nadal also signed contracts with many famous brands such as Nike, Babolat, Kia, Tommy Hilfiger and Amstel, helping to significantly increase his income year by year.
The 38-year-old lives in a seaside villa in Majorca with his family. He bought the property in 2013 for £3 million and is said to have spent seven years renovating it in a minimalist style.
Nadal bought his own plane, a £5m Cessna Citation CJ2+. Only 223 were ever built and it costs £220,000 a year to maintain.
In 2019, Nadal bought the 80 Sunreef Power yacht for £4.5 million. The 80 Sunreef Power is considered a superyacht with a spacious main deck, four guest cabins and two crew cabins.
Nadal has a collection of luxury cars including a £238,000 Aston Martin DBS in the style of Agent 007, a £180,000 Ferrari 458, a £130,000 Mercedes Benz AMG G63, a £172,000 Mercedes Benz AMG SL55, a Kia EV6 GT starting at £48,000 and the cheapest car is a Kia Stinger at £34,000.
Leveraging his fame, Nadal quickly expanded his investments. He founded the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain. The academy also has a branch in Mexico, a tennis training center for young players.
Nadal also invests in real estate and the hotel industry.
