WWE icon Ric Flair has announced his split from wife Wendy after six years of marriage.
The wrestling legend, 75, tied the knot for a fifth time back in 2018 but the couple have now gone their separate ways due to conflicting work schedules.
Flair, a 16-time WWE champion and Hall of Famer, shared an emotional statement with his three million followers on Instagram.
But he was quick to insist the separation was an amicable one and that they remain on good terms.
He said: “Wendy and I enjoyed 13 great years.
“As with every couple, we have experienced our ups and downs. [But] I think it’s important for everyone to know right now that we have decided to part ways respectfully.

“I’ll never be able to thank her enough for standing by my side through my terrible health crisis in 2018. She never left my side! And for that I will always be grateful!
“We both are working on different projects at the current time and it becomes difficult with my schedule and her schedule to make this work.
“I wish her the best of luck with her projects and I know that she supports mine.”
Wendy, a former professional tennis player, split from Flair back in 2022 but they got back together a few months later.

Flair and Wendy first met nearly 40 years ago while working for World Championship Wrestling.
Wendy was even seen alongside “Nature Boy” Flair as a French maid character named Fifi.
They began dating after Flair split from his fourth wife Jaqueline Beems in 2014.
They married four years later and spent six years by each other’s side – which included a period when Flair was hospitalised for an emergency procedure.
Flair was previously married to Leslie Goodman, Elizabeth Harrell, Tiffany VanDemark and Beems.
He has four children – two with Goodman and two with Harrell.
