Team USA has secured victories in their first two contests at the 2024 Olympics, triumphing over Serbia and South Sudan in the initial group phase games.
With their next game scheduled for Friday, the team members took the opportunity to explore Paris. Devin Booker was among them and encountered a fan donning his number 1 Phoenix Suns jersey amidst the city bustle.
Delighted to meet an international supporter, Booker engaged the fan, capturing the moment on video and inquired about his shoe size. Subsequently, he guided the fan to a vehicle, retrieved a pair of his Nike Book 1 signature shoes, and presented them to the fan, suggesting he replace his current shoes with the new pair.
“My boy reppin out here,” Booker exclaimed as he greeted the fan in the purple Suns jersey. “It’s called right place right time.”
This encounter will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience for the fan, recognized on the street by the athlete he admires.
Booker has been a starter in both of Team USA’s opening games at the Olympics, scoring 12 points in the victory over Serbia and an additional 10 points in the win against South Sudan. He and the team will next face Puerto Rico to conclude the group phase.
