Aryna Sabalenka Celebrates US Open Victory in Style with Stunning Audemars Piguet Watch!

NEW YORK—We’ve seen some truly out-of-this-world watches grace the courts at this year’s US Open, but newly crowned champion Aryna Sabalenka may have served up the most stunning one for last.

Last year’s runner up claimed a long-awaited and emotional victory on Saturday evening, as she took down No. 6 seed Jessica Pegula in the women’s final to win her first US Open title, and a third Grand Slam overall.

“So many things was going through my mind,” said Sabalenka, who fell on her back and covered her face after the 7-5, 7-5 win.

“I was just so proud of myself and proud of my team that no matter what, we were able to come back stronger and come back with better tennis. And now finally we are having this beautiful trophy.

“I don’t know how to describe that feeling. You’re crying, you’re laughing, you’re just, you know, you feel all these emotions at the same time. That’s the best feeling.”

Once the trophy ceremony started on Arthur Ashe Stadium, No. 2 seed Sabalenka brought out a glittering new accessory that nearly stole the spotlight from her Tiffany & Co. trophy.

Sabalenka was spotted wearing pink gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph on her left wrist, joining the WHOOP activity tracker that usually occupies her right wrist. The watch retails for 99,500 Swiss francs—that’s about $118,000 USD—and features rainbow-colored gemstones along the bezel and a black rubber strap.

There was no slowing down for Sabalenka after the final either, as the newly minted champion celebrated with her team amid a spray of champagne in the Arthur Ashe Stadium locker room and then ran through a busy post-match itinerary of media and TV interviews.

The champion matched her Audemars Piguet timepiece with a red Casablanca column dress “inspired by ancient Greece” that features a gold-tone C-shaped buckle and a thigh-high split on an asymmetric hemline.

Sabalenka’s celebrations are still going, with the world No. 2 sharing a Reel titled “a night in my life after winning the US Open” to her social media platforms. The video includes a lot of selfies, interviews and, in true Sabalenka style, drinking champagne out of her newly won trophy.
