Stephanie Vaquer just pinned a popular champion on a WWE Premium Live Event. A star also lost her first match since returning from injury.
Cora Jade has managed to establish herself as one of the top heels in NXT. Her career has been on a steep rise over the past few years. She has proven that she can be as vicious as anyone.
Sadly, her career was derailed when she suffered a serious injury earlier this year that put her out of action for several months. However, she made her return on the October 1, 2024, episode of NXT and attacked Giulia, thereby helping Roxanne Perez retain her NXT Women’s Championship.
Following this, Giulia found an unlikely ally in Stephanie Vaquer, who has been by her side fighting off Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. Tonight at Halloween Havoc, Giulia and Vaquer battled against Perez and Jade. Both teams put on an incredible tag match. However, it was Giulia and Vaquer who picked up the win after the latter pinned Roxanne Perez in the middle of the ring. This was also Cora’s first televised match since her match against Gigi Dolin on the January 9 episode of NXT.
This win makes things interesting for the NXT Women’s Championship picture, as Stephanie Vaquer just pinned the Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. It will be interesting to see if this earns her a title shot.
