Jason Kelce “got out of the house this week” to attend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami — and Travis Kelce is upset that he missed out on all the fun.
“I had all the FOMO in the world with the entire family and a lot of our friends being there,” Travis, 35, admitted during the Wednesday, October 23, episode of the “New Heights” podcast. “I had a bunch of friends that were also down by the stage that had been to a few shows overseas.”
Jason noted that he “obviously” had also been to two Eras Tour shows in London earlier this year, but there was something special about the “incredible” Miami concert. (Swift, 34, resumed the Eras Tour at Hard Rock Stadium after a two-month break for three shows in Miami from Friday, October 18 through Sunday, October 20.)
“I think part of it’s like, I don’t know if it’s the fact that we’re back in the U.S. — because I think the London crowd was incredible — but the rain and everything,” Jason, 36, said. “Dude, it was like on another level.”
Jason noted that he texted Travis “halfway through” to share how Swift was “killing it,” even while it was raining.
“When Reputation came on and she came out in the new outfit and the rain was coming down, the place could’ve f—ing erupted,” Jason said. “I mean, it did.”
Travis noted that his friends who were in attendance said “the same thing” as Jason. He was told “the Miami Stadium was just on another level” to restart the tour.
Who Is the Funniest Kelce?
“I wish I was there,” he added.
Photos and videos of Jason attending the Eras Tour with wife Kylie Kelce and daughters Wyatt, 4, and Ellie, 3, went viral on Friday. (The couple also shares daughter Bennett, 20 months, who was not present at the concert. Travis and Jason’s mom, Donna Kelce, was at the show too.)
One video appeared to show Jason falling asleep in the middle of the concert. Travis was quick to troll his older brother during Wednesday’s podcast episode for taking a nap during “the greatest show that’s ever been on stage.” Jason was quick to deny this narrative.
“I did not take a nap,” Jason declared, referring to a video of him sitting down during “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” which takes place during Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department era.
“Kylie’s holding Ellie, Ellie was just with me,” he said, referring to their second daughter. “We were dancing and I was sitting down so I’m on the same level with her. We’re out in the middle of the open right here, and we brought a bunch of people to the show … It isn’t like a box that’s enclosed. So, I’m like, ‘OK, I’m gonna sit down.’”
Jason said he was “just feeling the groove” while Swift was singing. “The mist of the rain had just started to get into my face … and I’m just sitting here and I’m in the moment.”
