According to the expert panel, the US team captain won the Most Valuable Player title at the 2024 Olympics thanks to averaging 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game.
In the final match alone, LeBron James had a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists, along with 6 rebounds and 2 steals to help the US win 98-87 against the home team.
Despite being 39 years old, LeBron James is still the most notable basketball star of the entire Olympics taking place in France. He is the owner of many beautiful “highlight” situations, but the most impressive is probably the triple-double of 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in the semi-final match against Serbia.
This is only the fourth triple-double in Olympic history, two of which have belonged to LeBron. It is even more meaningful when James achieved this set of stats while helping the US team come from behind to beat Serbia, winning a ticket to the final.
