Taylor Swift is expected to attend the Kansas City Chiefs clash with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 29 just one week after fans questioned her absense at the Mercedes Benz Stadium as Travis Kelce struggled.
The tight end made just four receptions for 30 yards and no touchdowns in the Week 3 clash with the Atlanta Falcons and was not a preferred target as his horrific start to the 2024/25 NFL season continues.
And it seems as though it could be taking a toll on him, despite his side winning 22-17, as he looked disconsolate on the sidelines after struggling to get involved in the game due to being heavily targeted by rival defenses.
Normally Swift would be there to cheer him on and to help lift his spirits but her iconic red lipstick and blonde hair was nowhere to be spotted in Georgia as she hung out with friends ahead of the resumption of her Eras Tour on October 18.
“Going to the game in Atlanta wasn’t possible because she had scheduled time with some friends, like Gigi Hadid,” an insider told the US Sun. “Whom she spent time with on the weekend, and other friends that she hasn’t seen in a while.
“She wanted to hang out with them before returning to the tour soon. But she plans to return to the next game to support Travis. They talked on the phone before the game and after the game, too. She wanted to congratulate him on the win!”
