Paul “Triple H” Levesque ushers in a new era: WrestleMania XL highlights
Paul “Triple H” Levesque is undeniably one of the greatest names in wrestling. Before he served as supervisors to other wrestlers, the Current Chief of Content gained fame, success, and popularity for his brilliant fighting skills and of course, a string of accolades, including 14 World Championships and a well-deserved spot in theWWE Hall of Fame. While one cannot not acknowledge his contributions to the sport and his remarkable expertise, not everyone seems to be having the same opinion about the consistency in his accomplishments. Take for example, JBL who stated that there’s part of Triple H’s career that fans overlook, that is, his relatively poor performance at WrestleMania. He remarked on the subject on “Huge Pop Radio” saying, “Triple H, you talk about putting guys over, his WrestleMania record is terrible.”He explained that many fans don’t realize this because Triple H has consistently helped other wrestlers shine in their matches. While this is a testament to his skill and dedication as a performer prioritizing the success of his opponents sometimes overshadowed his own accomplishments. “And people don’t realize that because he puts so many guys over. He was so good. He put guys over and people don’t even remember because he was so good,” he recalled on the subject.Throughout his career, Triple H has competed in 23 WrestleMania events, achieving a record of 10 wins and 13 losses. His journey at WrestleMania started with a notable loss to the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 12. However, he quickly rebounded with victories against Goldust and Owen Hart at WrestleMania 13 and 14. His most recent WrestleMania appearance was at WrestleMania 35, where he faced off againstBautista.Although JBL and Triple H never competed against each other at the event, they did work together several times from their first meeting in the ring in 1996 until 2008. JBL praised Triple H’s abilities, stating, “[Levesque] is a really sharp guy. He’s a sharp guy in the ring. There are several guys that you just felt this calm presence about. Scott Hall was like that. Scott Hall was a great worker. Jake Roberts was a great worker.”While Triple H may not have the most stellar WrestleMania record, his contributions to the wrestling world go far beyond wins and losses. By focusing on elevating other wrestlers, he has left a lasting impact on the industry. Also Read:Triple H Dating History: Exploring the Personal Life of the King of Kings
