Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have announced that star tight end Travis Kelce has signed a new two-year contract with the team.
The new deal offers Travis Kelce a $17 million salary, ensuring he stays with the team and retains franchise rights through at least 2024.
This is also the highest salary in Travis Kelce’s 11-year playing career that the male player has been offered.
At 34, Travis Kelce says he has no plans to retire. “Hopefully it won’t happen anytime soon,” he says.
Regarding his ability to stick with football in general and the Kansas City Chiefs in particular, Travis shared that he will play football until he “has no more strength”.
