Ayesha Curry and her sons, Canon and Caius, couldn’t be prouder of their Olympian star, Stephen Curry.
On Friday, August 16, Ayesha, 35, posted a series of photos on Instagram from the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they cheered on Stephen, as he led Team USA to victory.
In one of the pictures, Ayesha and her sons, Canon, 6, and newborn Caius, all sported matching Team USA uniforms, to show their support.
Another adorable snapshot featured Stephen posing with his sons post-victory, with Canon proudly donning his dad’s gold medal while the NBA star cradled baby Caius.
Ayesha expressed her pride in the caption, writing, “We’re so proud of you @stephencurry30 !!!.”
However, the day wasn’t without its challenges. Following Stephen’s big win, Ayesha was involved in a tense encounter with Paris police, an incident that was captured on video and quickly spread across social media.
In the clip shared on X by The Hollywood Fix, Ayesha appeared visibly upset, wiping away tears while holding Caius close to her chest.
Reports suggest that the altercation may have stemmed from an incident involving the baby being accidentally struck by police, leading to a visibly frustrated reaction from those nearby, including Stephen’s teammate, Draymond Green.
“So even after him hitting the baby in the head, there’s still nothing y’all can do to get them out of here?” Draymond was heard saying in the video,
Despite the distressing incident, Ayesha later reassured fans on Instagram that they had the “best time” at the Olympics.
“We had the best time celebrating and cheering on [Steph Curry] at the Olympics,” she wrote, alongside more photos of her and the boys.
The Currys recently marked their 13th wedding anniversary and welcomed their fourth child, son Caius, in May. The couple’s two daughters, Riley, 12, and Ryan, 9, were not present at the Olympics.
