Jannik Sinner is back on the courts, fresh off his sensational US Open victory, and he’s not slowing down. With the Asian swing in full force, the Italian star is determined to keep his winning momentum alive. But while the challenges on the courts are tough, Sinner has something special working in his favor—support from the people closest to him. And speaking of support, his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya just added a heartwarming touch to his journey.

The Italian dynamo started his China Open campaign with a sensational victory. Playing against Nicolas Jarry, Sinner secured a victory in the three-setter match 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. But more than his incredible performance, the star player is capturing headlines for his adorable gesture that he engaged in along with his girlfriend Kalinskaya, right before his match.

Ahead of the match, Kalinskaya was spotted alongside Sinner as she seemingly wished good luck to the World No. 1 player. They were pictured spending romantic moments together as the couple exchanged kisses ahead of the match, which mesmerized the fans of the star players. Interestingly, this is not the first time when such moments have unfolded on the court between Sinner and Kalinskaya.

Soon after etching his name on the US Open this year, Sinner rushed to Kalinskaya and hugged her. The Russian player reciprocated the love and congratulated his partner with a kiss. Interestingly, when Sinner revealed that he is dating Kalinskaya during the French Open this year, he said, “You know me, I don’t like to talk about my private life, but we are together. Yes, I’m with Anna, but we keep everything very confidential. I won’t say more.” But it seems like he is breaking away from his regular character and openly engaging in romantic gestures with her counterpart. Remember, Kalinskaya equally reciprocates the gestures and has often expressed her love for her beau.

During the Berlin Open this year, Kalinskaya expressed her desire to play as well as Sinner. “I’m just trying to be a little as good as him. It’s difficult; usually, I watch him,” she said. She was also witnessed in stands during many of the crucial matches of Sinner and overshadowed her own defeats on certain instances by celebrating the victories of the Italian player. It is probably for these adorable reasons that even former pro-Andy Roddick gave a special tag to the Russian sensation.

While Jannik Sinner has continued to make waves on the tennis courts, Anna Kalinskaya has not remained at the back foot this season. Her performance not only helped her secure the 14th spot on the WTA rankings, but has also garnered her widespread praise from the entire tennis community, and Andy Roddick is no different. But while praising the star player, Roddick did not fail to add a cheeky remark.

Speaking on the August 13th episode of Served with Roddick, the 2003 US Open winner said, “Kalniskaya, otherwise known as Mrs. Sinner – not yet, can hit the ball really big and it’s finally finding confidence.” While he quickly elaborated saying, “I always look for those players who have been on tour but then they actually start finding the court with more frequency,”  his mention of “Mrs Sinner” did not go unnoticed.

As the season evolves, it would be interesting to see if Anna Kalinskaya and Jannik Sinner engage in more such endearing moments and share love for each other on the courts.
