A resurfaced video of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James partying with rapper Sean “P Diddy” Combs has drawn attention as Combs faces serious criminal charges.
In September, Combs was arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution.
The Vigilant Fox shared the video on X, originally from an Instagram Live session four years ago, showing James making comments about Combs’ famous parties.
During the live session, James said, “Everybody knows, ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” to which Combs replied, “Yeah, that’s what’s up!”
The resurfacing of this clip comes at a time when the public is closely examining Combs’ past interactions amid the legal proceedings.
In another recently uncovered clip, James and Combs were seen dancing to a Migos song at a dinner party, adding to the intrigue surrounding their connection.
James has yet to comment publicly on the video or his past association with the embattled music mogul.
Combs, who has hosted high-profile events like his annual Labor Day “white parties,” is facing multiple lawsuits and criminal charges related to sex trafficking and abuse.
In July, former adult actress Adria English sued Combs, alleging that he coerced her into sex work with guests at his parties.
Former Bad Boy Records artist Dawn Richard also filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of sexual abuse.
Combs was arrested by U.S. Homeland Security investigators on September 16, 2024, following an indictment by a grand jury in Manhattan.
He pled not guilty during his initial court appearance on September 17, 2024.
Despite offering a $50 million bond, Combs was denied bail by both U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky and a second judge, Andrew L. Carter Jr.
Judge Carter expressed concerns about potential threats to witnesses, leading to Combs’ continued detention in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
Combs is currently being held in the same facility as Jeffrey Epstein’s right hand Ghislaine Maxwell.
The charges against Combs have sparked renewed interest in his long-standing reputation for extravagant parties, many of which were attended by high-profile celebrities.
The Washington Post reported that allegations of abuse against Combs date back to 2008, highlighting a history of troubling accusations.
As the case against Combs continues to unfold, the resurfacing of the video featuring James has fueled public interest in the connections between the two prominent figures.
While the video does not implicate James in any wrongdoing, the timing of its release has brought his past attendance at Combs’ parties under scrutiny.
