A fan page that specializes in posting candid photos of celebrities shared new photos of Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend doing her hair and wearing no makeup to their account.
“So beautiful,” the person wrote sarcastically via X, along with a vomiting emoji. Nicole reshared the post and wrote: “You would never make me hate myself.”
Other fans came to the sportscaster’s defense on X. “You’re so beautiful… is this weird?!,” one supporter wrote. “You look gorgeous,” another exclaimed. “They didn’t make a fan page to hate you,” a third tweeted. “Girl, you’re gorgeous,” a fourth fan commented.
Nicole has faced online hate since Travis Kelce, 34, went public with his relationship with Taylor Swift, also 34, last September.
A month later, Kayla Nicole — founder of Tribe Therepe Fitness — posted an open letter to “black women in particular,” in which she fought back against the “backlash and shaming” she endured amid the highly publicized relationship between her ex-boyfriend and the Bad Blood singer.
Nicole encourages her followers not to “embark on this chaotic, often one-way journey.”
She explains: “Keep your heart even when they try to measure your character and test your boundaries… You don’t have to react. Because there is power in your silence.”
In January 2024, Nicole criticized Taylor Swift’s “vulgar” fans in a TikTok video.
“Fake pages, badmouthing, having a large following, keyboard warriors – take a year off…,” she captioned the clip.
Three months later, she appeared before the Swifties community again before the singer released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Nicole dated football player Travis Kelce from 2017 to 2022. They broke up in May 2022 when Kelce went public with his relationship with Taylor Swift.
