Tennis Rumor: Lovebirds Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya Poised To Make Waves With Their Enchanting Presence at Milan Fashion Week

Following the footsteps of Matteo Berrettini and Taylor Fritz, Sinner could make a stylish appearance at Milan Fashion Week. The new US Open champion is the official ambassador of the Italian luxury fashion brand Gucci and his presence at the event is expected. But the question lingering on everyone’s mind is whether he will walk the red carpet solo, or will his partner join him.

Jannik Sinner and his girlfriend, Anna Kalinskaya nipped rumors of their breakup in the bud after the Italian beat Taylor Fritz to win his first US Open. The couple shared a hug and kiss to show their love and support for each other. However, currently, the tennis couple is in different places.

While Sinner is practicing at Monte Carlo for the upcoming events in China and the ATP finals, Kalinskaya is in Moscow, getting her hair done. But there is a chance they could be united at Milan Fashion Week. According to the Tutto Sport news, Kalinskaya could accompany the Italian star on the red carpet itself.

If not the Gucci event, the Russian star would be on the side events during the fashion week, further strengthening their joint presence in the fashion world. Before the US Open, Kalinskaya was featured in a photoshoot in volume one of Open Tennis, a new print magazine from The Second Serve.

The images from that shoot, captured by photographer Dan Martensen, were showcased all over New York City, highlighting Kalinskaya’s rising status in the tennis and fashion worlds. On the other hand, Sinner has been the brand ambassador for the Kering-owned fashion house since July 2022. In July 2023, Sinner turned heads at Wimbledon when he sported a custom Gucci duffle bag showcasing the iconic GG monogram, emphasized by green and red straps.

At the moment, there is no confirmation about the appearance of the lovebirds together at the MFW. Following his appearance at Milan Fashion Week, Jannik Sinner will be jet-setting to China for a busy schedule of ATP tournaments. He’ll compete in the ATP 500 in Beijing and the Masters 1000 in Shanghai before returning to Europe to defend his title in Vienna, participate in the Masters 1000 in Bercy, and conclude the season with the ATP Finals and the Davis Cup Finals.

Sinner and Kalinskaya were the subject of breakup rumors after it emerged that the Russian tennis player briefly unfollowed the 2024 Australian Open winner. However, during the US Open quarterfinal match between Sinner and Daniil Medvedev, Kalinskaya was seen in Sinner’s player’s box cheering him on, debunking any rumors of a split.

The couple have been very private about their relationship which was first disclosed during the French Open this year. However, things are not as easy as they seem to be for the couple  Sinner once opened up about the expectations and pressure of being at the top in tennis and in a high-profile relationship at the same time.

Everything seems to be in place for the US Open champion now. He claimed two Grand Slam titles this year, and two 1000 Masters titles.  However, being a top star in the sport and managing a relationship is a challenging situation. He had once voiced the same concerns to Vanity Fair Italia.

“Of course, it’s not easy. I travel a lot and during tournaments, I’m very focused. But I think it’s a beautiful thing when you find the right love. Like for everyone. And then, if you think about it, the best tennis players in the world all have wives and children,” remarked Jannik Sinner, who is best known as reserved in nature.

Whether Kalinskaya would accompany Sinner at the Milan Fashion Week is unknown. But fans would be keeping their fingers crossed, in hopes of catching a glimpse of the power couple dazzling the world of fashion!
