“She’s really interested in football. She asks a lot of great questions,” the Super Bowl champ, 28, said of the pop superstar, 34, on “NFL on NBC” Thursday.
“She’s already drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in.”
Swift’s love of football was perhaps first sparked by her father, Scott Swift, who’s been a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan.
The “Fortnight” singer appeared to become a much more avid follower of the sport, however, last September when she started attending games to support Kelce, also 34.
Throughout last season, Swift was spotted going to several games across the country, and she even made the lengthy 12-hour trip from touring in Japan to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl in February.
At the championship game, the Grammy winner used her sports knowledge to help pal Ice Spice understand what was going on, as the rapper was very confused throughout most of the event.
“I honestly would just wait until Taylor cheered, and then I’m like, ‘Yay!’” Ice, 24, recently admitted on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Mahomes — who recently hung out with Swift and Kelce at the former’s mansion in Rhode Island — praised the “Love Story” singer for bringing more female fans to the NFL.
“I think it’s been cool to see the girls and the women that have really embraced watching football,” the athlete further explained on “NFL on NBC.”
“I know, being a girl dad, how cool it is for me. I mean, to see, like, these little girls, these daughters how much they’re loving and spending time with their dad watching football.”
Swift was credited last year with being responsible for spiking a major increase in the NFL’s ratings.
For instance, after she attended a Chiefs vs. Jets game last October alongside her A-list crew of friends, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, viewership soared.
