A former WWE Champion has opened up on his latest 2025 Royal Rumble poster snub.
One of the biggest events of the year, the Royal Rumble is just a few months away. Earlier today (09/30), WWE launched the first look at the upcoming Royal Rumble poster. However, the poster lacked the significant presence of former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre. Currently, involved in one of the hottest feuds, his rival CM Punk made it to the poster, while McIntyre got left out.
The Scottish Psychopath noticed his absence and called out the promotion on social media. McIntyre and Liv Morgan recently appeared at the Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday to promote the 2025 Royal Rumble. Despite his appearance, McIntyre was snubbed from the poster.
Soon after the poster dropped, McIntyre stopped by the Instagram post and left behind a comment calling out the promotion. He wrote:
Hey let’s send Drew to Indy to promote the Rumble!’ ‘Good call! Shall we put him on the poster?’ ‘Na.’”
McIntyre has now suffered a similar fate as Bayley from earlier this year, where she was regularly snubbed from posters despite her status as a champion. Despite his hard work to promote next year’s PLE, the promotion decided to go ahead with the other stars on the roster.
Out of the World title picture for some time now, his fans want him back in the championship scenario now.
After his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk at Bad Blood, Drew McIntyre has his next plans ready.
In an interview with Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated, McIntyre firmly believes that nothing can top his current rivalry with CM Punk, though he wants his next feud to be something he can buy into.
In other news: Cody Rhodes has claimed that this top AEW star can be the next of the company.
