The Rock returns
The Rock made an appearance the last time Smackdown moved to a new platform and once again, the WWE Universe is expecting him to make a return. This time, he will be part of a storyline. The Rock teased a future match with Cody Rhodes when he appeared on Raw after Wrestlemania 40. The People’s Champion is all but confirmed to perform at Wrestlemania 41. Their storyline could resume on Smackdown.
Solo Sikoa defeats Cody Rhodes
There’s no doubt that Cody Rhodes is favourite to defeat Solo Sikoa. But what if Solo pulls off an upset against Cody to win the title? This can’t happen without The Rock’s help. Solo lost to Cody in the main event of SummerSlam 2024.
Roman Reigns booked to face Jacob Fatu
Roman Reigns is advertised for Smackdown and he is set to make his presence felt. While many are expecting him to face Solo in future, a match between him and Jacob Fatu could also be booked. Jacob attacked Roman a few weeks ago.
Becky Lynch returns
Becky Lynch has been off the WWE TV since May and she isn’t with WWE now. There is no clear word on her return. WWE can pull off one of the biggest surprises in history by re-signing Becky and making her appear at Smackdown. A WWE legend, Becky main evented Wrestlemania 35.
