Serena Williams spotted in the pit at Green Day’s LA concert

During Green Day’s Los Angeles concert at SoFi Stadium on Saturday, Williams can be seen in all black going around in a circle with other fans of the rock band in the pit.

Williams is about 50 feet from the stage where lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong is performing, and he can be heard in the background of the video.

Green Day is one of the most successful rock bands of the 21st century, with the 20th anniversary of arguably their most successful album, ‘American Idiot’ occurring on Saturday.

That’s a week after Williams jogged in a circle at one of Green Day’s concerts.

Williams, who turns 43 later in September, has been a vocal fan of Green Day for years

Williams also turns 43 later this month and is celebrating two full years retired from tennis, having last played at the US Open in 2022.

It is unclear who Williams attended the concert with, or if she made friends in the pit and decided to dance around in a circle with them.

Williams has previously shown her love for Green Day on social media, posting a TikTok singing along to several of the band’s most famous songs, including ‘Basket Case’ and ‘When I Come Around.’

After Saturday’s show, Williams also shows appreciation for Armstrong, commenting on his Instagram post about the show ‘Love you Billie!!!!!!’

This is also not the first rock show Williams has attended. She admitted to going to multiple Green Day shows in the past during a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

Venus and Serena Williams were also at an Alice in Chains concert two years ago in Florida.
