The Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink is having the time of her life in the off-season. She recently shared her engagement news with the world to her long-time boyfriend Ben Felter. In a photo dump posted by Felter on Instagram, the two can be seen having a merry time while Felter got down on his knee to propose to the former Cardinal. And Brink accepted his proposal. While the two are celebrating this new journey, Brink’s god brother Stephen Curry has come to join them in the joyous moment.
Curry in the comment section posted “Congrats LoveBirds!!!! ️” on Tuesday which would have made their day. Curry’s message, though was set and short, revealed that despite looking forward to the NBA season, the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ took out time from his busy schedule to laud the couple. Notably, Brink was also appreciative of Felter and she mentioned him in the section “I love you️ more than anything!”
The photos were notably from Paris, a location Brink couldn’t enjoy due to her injury earlier this year which ended her chances of going with the 3*3 Team USA women’s basketball. However, looks like in the off-season Brink has gone to France to live those moments and have a great time with her future husband.
As per reports, Brink and Felter met during their time at Stanford. While Brink was popular in college for her balling skills, Felter made a name for himself with the rowing team. Their sports background must have helped the two connect to each other easily. Furthermore, the two athletes were supportive of each other as Felter was a two-time IRCA Scholar Athlete. Additionally, he was also a member of the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll. Thus, Brink looks to have helped Felter climb the ladder of success in his domains.
Apart from that Felter is a computer science student. Starting as an intern at Kaladin, Felter has also worked with Chegg as a machine learning engineer. Right now, he is a technical intern at the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), apart from being an intern at the Stanford Artificial Research Laboratory (SAIL).
After her engagement, Brink was so happy that she also posted a video along with Felter in what looks to be their hotel room. The couple while gleaming in smiles, kissed each other as Brink showed her engagement ring. The video was captioned “yes in every lifetime,” from Brink’s side which proved that she was head over heels in love with Felter. The two at the time of the proposal were at the Shangri-La Paris Hotel and had made their relationship public in March this year while celebrating their 3-year anniversary. The sweet couple was congratulated by many including Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.
While Clark posted four heart emojis, Reese commented “STOPPP. congrats bby.” Thus the rookies proved that despite being competitors, they are for each other during happy and tough times. And hopefully, Brink will maybe invite them to join the celebration once she is back in the USA.
As of now, fans are waiting for the wedding ceremony to take place. And it remains to be seen if it will take place this year. As of now, she hasn’t been questioned about it. Most probably after her return, fans will also get a detailed story of her love life.
