The cookbook author-turned-actress stars in the Netflix romcom with Lindsay Lohan
Ayesha Curry is showing off her growing bump, just days after announcing her fourth pregnancy with husband Steph Curry!
The cookbook author, 34, stepped out on the red carpet at a special screening of Irish Wish at New York’s Paris Theater on Tuesday with her bump on display!
Curry wore a Dolce & Gabbana cady and satin bodycon dress with lace-up details for a sculpted look. She posed wearing matching closed-toe black pumps.
For a pop of color, the entrepreneur rocked eddy green nails. Curry’s hair was parted to the side with curls cascading down, giving her the ultimate Hollywood glam.
Curry stars opposite Lindsay Lohan in the Netflix rom-com as Heather. In the movie, Lohan plays Maddie, who goes to Ireland as a bridesmaid, only to become the bride-to-be when she wishes for true love. While it seems her dream came true, she soon learns her soulmate is someone else.
On Friday, Curry announced she and her NBA star husband, 35, were expecting another baby in the cover story for her own Sweet July Magazine. A photo showed her lying across wooden chairs holding her bump, wearing a nude blazer with a white bra and heels.
“For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done,” she wrote in a letter published on the Sweet July site. “We said, ‘Three, that’s it, we’re not doing this again.’ And then, last year, we looked at each other and agreed we wanted to do this again.”
In other images, Curry is flaunting a bright blue set, a fitted orange dress and a pinstriped suit unbuttoned with a white tee rolled up to reveal her stomach.
The mom of three also explained what made her want a fourth child. She said that it began to feel “like somebody was missing” in her daily life last year.
“I would load up the car and think, ‘Oh, I forgot something.’ But nobody was forgotten,” she wrote. “It started to turn my brain a little bit. Maybe somebody was missing. So we set out on this journey, knowing that this would complete our family.”
Being in the public eye, Curry revealed she wanted to keep the beginning of this journey private.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know myself more,” she shared. “I’m protecting my peace and my energy. This is such a sacred time in life that I know I’m never going to get back so I’m being a little selfish. I’m keeping some things to myself.”
The letter later concluded: “I’m also very conscious about how I speak to and view myself. Gratitude has been prime. I’m constantly reminding myself that it’s okay to rest. I’m making it a point to sleep unapologetically. I’ve made it a point to not be hard on myself. This time around, I’m giving myself grace.”
Curry and Steph are already parents to daughters Riley, 11, and Ryan, 8, as well as son Canon, 5.
Irish Wish will be released on Netflix on March 15.
