The Dallas Cowboys star quarterback has been deeply shaped by his late mother, Peggy Prescott, whose memory still plays a major role in his life. Though Dak lost his mom to colon cancer back in 2013, he continues to honor her in everything he does, both on and off the field.
On September 4th, Prescott took to social media to post a heartfelt tribute to his mom on what would have been her birthday. Sharing a throwback video, he wrote, “Happy Birthday Momma ” with a touching message that read, “Love you & miss you more than I can explain.” This isn’t the first time the Cowboys QB has shown love for his mom-he never misses a chance to speak about the incredible influence she had on him.
