Jey Uso: A Journey Through Every WWE Championship Reign!

Jey Uso, son of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, flew under the radar for years as a workhorse tag team in WWE until breaking through while embracing their Samoan roots.

The brothers frequently soared to the air in brilliant colors, flying tassels, and blinding war paint, earning the WWE Tag Team Championship and the Slammy for Tag Team of the Year on many occasions.

When confronted with a slew of new tag teams to battle, The Usos quickly declared they were “done with all that” and returned to fundamentals. No more paint, no more screams. Black T-shirts, black hoodies, and an unmistakable nasty streak.

Over time, The Usos established themselves as one of the most exciting and ferocious tag teams in WWE history, bringing the fans to their feet almost every time they entered the ring, especially during an epic rivalry with The New Day. There isn’t much The Usos can’t accomplish together, having been together from Day One!

Nonetheless, despite his tag team success, Jey Uso rose to prominence in his partnership with his cousin Roman Reigns. After a particularly personal fight with The Big Dog, Jey was finally subjugated by the “Head of the Table.” But now he is part of the red brand with a new aura to himself.

So, let’s look down at his every WWE title reigns:

After 14 years in WWE, Uso won his first singles championship on September 23rd, defeating Bron Breakker to become the new Intercontinental Champion in the Raw main event. Uso thanked the people for believing in him, eliciting an emotional celebration from the audience.

In addition, he and his father Rikishi became just the second father-son tandem to capture the Intercontinental Championship, following Mr. Perfect and his son Curtis Axel.

Jey Uso had one hell of a run when he was with Jimmy Uso as a tag partner, both had fabulous chemistry and gave one of the best matches at that time. But, the credit should be given to Roman Reigns for he was able to elevate everybody around him. If one guy who is enjoying and delivering is Jey Uso.

Jey Uso has had three title reigns with Jimmy Uso, but after he went to take his place at RAW he teamed up with Cody Rhodes to have his fourth reign of WWE Raw Tag Team Championship.

Jey Uso during his time with The Bloodline became the ring-hand man of Roman Reigns and they absolutely kept the roster in check. During that time, Jey Uso was able to find his true self.

He had five WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship reigns with his twin Jimmy Uso and one title reign with Cody Rhodes.

Also, to note Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso became the first tag team to hold both the WWE Raw & SmackDown Tag Team Championships simultaneously.
