Seth Rollins made his return on WWE Raw and got revenge on the man responsible for putting him on the shelf for a number of weeks.
The main event of the September 30th Raw saw Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed face off in their Last Monster Standing match following weeks of both men attempting to destroy each other. With carnage advertised ahead of time, fans were expecting something big and were disappointed when all was said and done.
With tables and barricades destroyed, Reed delivered a superplex to Strowman in the closing stages of the match that caused the ring to collapse. With both men struggling to get to their feet, The Visionary ran down to the ring and delivered a stomp onto Reed onto the steel steps, allowing Strowman to get to his feet and win the match.
Reed was the one who was responsible for injuring Rollins in storyline back on the August 5th Raw as he delivered 6 Tsunamis to the former World Champion. The attack began Reed’s path of destruction that led to multiple angles involving Strowman. Rollins was written off TV as he was reportedly dealing with a number of injuries.
Prior to his Raw return, Rollins was seen inside Lucas Oil Stadium as the Indianapolis Colts faced off against the Chicago Bears. Spotted in the crowd, Seth Rollins mocked the Colts fans before being dumped over the barricade by T.Y. Hilton. Pat McAfee was also in attendance and was delighted by Rollins having a terrible time at the NFL game.
