New AEW Recruit Reaches Out to Mercedes Mone for Potential Partnership

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone to form a partnership with his new signing?

New AEW Recruit Approaches Mercedes Mone For Partnership

Last week on Dynamite, fans were treated to the surprising debut of former WWE United States Champion MVP. Soon after, reports from Fightful Select emerged of Tony Khan signing MVP for his promotion.

The current champion Mone is already in a partnership with former NWA star Kamile. While Kamile acts as Mone’s muscle, a partnership between MVP and Mercedes Mone was teased on the 5th-anniversary episode of Dynamite.

The former Hurt Business manager can effectively act as Mone’s mouthpiece. During a backstage segment, MVP passed his business card to the ‘CEO’, and suggested they work together.

Last week, MVP had teased a future collaboration with the currently absent Swerve Strickland. However, fans are yet to hear back from Strickland about his partnership with Montel Vontavious Porter.

Also, after months of speculations, All Elite Wrestling has finally signed a new multi-year deal with WBD, and fans heard Tony Khan open up about it.

After Variety broke the news about the promotion’s new multi-year deal with WBD, Tony Khan opened up on the new deal.

We are honored to announce the extension of our incredible partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. This extension continues the tradition of iconic wrestling events broadcast on TBS and TNT, while also establishing a new legacy for AEW through weekly live streams on Max for years to come.”
