Travis Kelce is moving up in the world, having locked Hollywood projects and big TV spots. However, he isn’t the only one making heads wave. On October 3, his mother. Donna Kelce was named among the Glamour’s 2024 Women of the Year: The Moms, sharing the spotlight with other influential figures.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been in the NFL since 2013, but he began gaining mainstream attention last year thanks to his three Super Bowl rings and relationship with Taylor Swift. This led to his mother receiving accolades along with other powerful moms.

In her interview with Glamour, Donna Kelce highlighted the tough part of being a working mom. Especially raising athletic kids like Jason and Travis Kelce.

“Being a mom is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” said Donna. “It’s so much easier to just go to work, but raising children, when they’re totally dependent on you and you’re trying to do the best you can with the limited resources that you have, it’s the most daunting task I’ve ever had to do”

Donna Kelce is currently shooting a movie ‘Christmas on Call’ which will be out next month. Her son is also looking forward to his debut movie ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ being released soon.

Last week, Travis Kelce made his acting debut on the small screen with his appearance on FX’s ‘Grotesquerie’. Kelce’s character intrigued his fans, however, Donna Kelce, apart from appreciating his son, gave him advice as well in an interview with Variety.

“Sometimes parents want to fix things for their kids,” Donna Kelce said. “But sometimes it’s better to just let them fail. You learn the most from things you don’t do well. Hopefully, if this is something he wants to do, he’ll get better at it.”

Apart from achieving in the realm of acting, the nine-time Pro Bowler has been good in the gridiron as well. The Chiefs are unbeaten till now and will go back to the Arrowhead Stadium for their Week 5 fixture on Monday.
