Wendell Moore is soon to become a father to a baby girl with his girlfriend, Lexie Gordon. Seven weeks ago, Moore and Gordon received horrible news about their unborn baby girl that she might have a hole in her heart. However, the couple received miraculous news earlier today.
The girlfriend of the Detroit Pistons small forward took to her social media to share the amazing news with her fans. Gordon took to her Instagram to share that the hole in her unborn baby’s heart that the doctors had feared didn’t exist and it was perfectly fine.
Moore’s girlfriend also wrote to confirm her reverence for god. She wrote that it wasn’t a coincidence but the miracle of god looking over her daughter.

“7 weeks ago at baby girl’s anatomy scan it looked like she had a small hole in her heart (VSD).. had 2 appts that couldn’t quite confirm or deny it she was not in great positions,” she wrote in her Instagram story.
“Today, after coming back from a really horrible week at home in TX, the DR said that her heart looked perfect and healthy,” she added. “Coincidence.. no. Just all God and grandpa looking over our baby girl. a pick me up i didn’t even know I needed. a breadcrumb from him already.”
The exact date of the dating between Wendell Moore and Lexie Gordon is still not confirmed. However, it is known that the couple have been together since their college. Gordon and Moore attended Duke University together.
Brown also played basketball for the Duke Blue Devils as a forward. She went undrafted in the 2022 WNBA Draft but later signed with the LA Sparks, though she was waived without ever taking the court for the team. Currently pregnant with her first child, Gordon remains out of the WNBA for now.
Wendell Moore’s girlfriend celebrated Boyfriend Day on Oct. 3. The former WNBA player took the opportunity to pen a heartfelt message for the NBA star boyfriend.
Right after sharing the miraculous news about her daughter’s health, she took the opportunity to show her love for Moore. In her Instagram story, Gordon posted a collage that captured sweet moments between the couple. Posting the picture, she wrote:
“Happy bf day to my rock, my best friend, and the love of my life. Holding on a little tighter today and everyday, so blessed to get to love you.”
Wendell Moore was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves at 26th position in the 2022 NBA Draft. In the two seasons with the Timberwolves, Moore played a total of 54 games and spent a substantial part of his NBA career in G-League. In July earlier this year, Moore was traded to the Pistons.
