Ace Your Adventure: Roger Federer Champions Swiss Tourism in New Campaign!

Roger Federer has teamed up with Switzerland Tourism to promote the Swiss autumn season alongside Danish actor, Mads Mikkelsen.

Federer and Mikkelsen are centre court as part of the largest autumn campaign in the history of Swiss tourism.

The new campaign video shows the pair attempting to produce an advert to showcase the many facets of the Swiss autumn.

Federer had earlier teamed up with actor Anne Hathaway to promote self-drive holidays around his homeland, and in another campaign, he worked alongside comedian Trevor Noah to promote the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland.

In this latest tourism promotion, Mikkelsen is seen hugging a tree, doing barefoot yoga, and plunging into the fresh waters of a mountain lake.

Federer says, “The intensity of Mads’ game impressed me. He has an incredible personality, always very focused on the set. In short, he’s a great actor.”

Switzerland is generally known for its winter and summer seasons. With this campaign, the tourism board wants to make autumn an essential time for visiting the mountainous European nation.

Switzerland Tourism Chief Marketing Officer, André Hefti says, “This collaboration with Roger Federer and Mads Mikkelsen is a perfect reflection of our vision of autumn in Switzerland: a season that blends nature, elegance and tradition.”

“Autumn now lasts on average 12 days longer than it did in 1970 and Switzerland is becoming an increasingly popular destination at this time of year, and hotels are adapting to stay open longer to accommodate this growing demand.”

To coincide with the launch of the campaign, a web page dedicated to autumn and its varied activities has been launched.
