The coquette trend is here to stay, according to Taylor Swift. On Saturday, the singer attended the wedding of supermodel and singer-songwriter Karen Elson at Electric Lady Studios in New York, embracing the girly aesthetic in a cutout Zimmermann dress featuring a floral print.

Swift’s ivory frock, which also incorporated cutouts and scalloped trim, flouted typical wedding dress code rules: usually, only the bride wears white. At the star-studded ceremony, the “Tortured Poets Department” artist was accompanied by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
Swift accessorized with blush Christian Louboutin Condora heels and a blue jacquard Vivienne Westwood handbag, as well as tourmaline dangle earrings by Larkspur & Hawk. She topped off her look with a bold red lip, wearing her blond tresses in an updo with bangs.
Linda Evangelista, Lana Del Rey and Karlie Kloss were also in attendance at Elson’s wedding. The legendary Electric Lady Studios, founded by Jimi Hendrix, is frequented by Del Rey, Swift and Kacey Musgraves, among other A-list artists.
On Thursday, Swift cheered on Kelce in Kansas City, Missouri, wearing a denim Versace corset adorned with the label’s signature Medusa hardware. Maroon thigh-high Giuseppe Zanotti boots and a Louis Vuitton Side Trunk purse completed her ensemble.
Coquette styling is proving popular this year, with full skirts, lace, florals and pale hues taking the fashion world by storm. During the spring 2024 season, designers including Simone Rocha, Richard Quinn and Valentino embraced feminine flairs, sending romantic silhouettes down the runway.
