Bronson Reed made a surprising comment about a traditional WWE match that he believes the company should be doing more with. The star is currently involved in a rivalry with Seth Rollins on WWE RAW.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, the WWE RAW star discussed winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5, 2024, edition of SmackDown. Reed noted that he would have liked to do more with the victory and wanted to carry around the trophy for a couple of months, but it wasn’t available the week after he won it.
“I feel like people sort of, and hopefully not people within our company, but people sort of not disrespected the trophy, but like, it’s sort of like a throwaway match, and I wanted to win it and make sure that it wasn’t that. I was hoping that I could do more with the trophy, but I’d won it and then I didn’t see it the next week. I don’t know what they did with it but I said I wanted to carry it around for a couple of months and make it like a thing, but that didn’t happen,” said Reed.
Reed then added that he believes that the company should attempt to make the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal more important.
“So, I feel like they need to sort of make that more of a thing than what it is,” he added. [H/T – WrestleTalk]

Wrestling veteran Teddy Long recently shared his thoughts on Seth Rollins returning on the September 30, 2024, episode of WWE RAW and attacking Bronson Reed during his Last Monster Standing Match against Braun Strowman.
Bronson Reed attacked Rollins on the August 5 episode of the red brand and The Visionary went on hiatus for several weeks. Rollins returned last month and cost Bronson Reed the Last Monster Standing Match against Braun Strowman. Speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Long shared that he was surprised by Rollins’ return last month on RAW.
“That was kind of surprising. I like the way he came down, got himself over right there, right in there. So that was very good, man. Good to see Seth back, man,” said Long. [13:06-13:22]
