Buddy Hield is integrating extremely quickly with the Golden State Warriors and has had 2 shining matches for his new team.

Buddy Hield was chosen to replace Klay Thompson in the Golden State lineup, joining the Warriors last summer with an average salary of just over $9.4 million.

But through the opening two games of the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, Hield led the Warriors in scoring in both games. Along with Stephen Curry’s familiar “hot hand” in the third quarter, the Golden State team completed the victory with a difference of up to 41 points.

Adding in the previous round, the Golden Gate Bridge team is now winning by an average of 38.5 points in the first two games, the highest number ever witnessed in NBA history.

Buddy Hield continues to shine

Both the points scored (22 PTS) and the number of successful 3-pointers (5) in the opening match were conquered by Buddy Hield in the second match this morning, where he scored 27 points and had 7 long-range shots.

Today was another day when the Warriors got off to a slow start, letting the Utah Jazz lead 4-13 in the first half. But when Buddy Hield came off the bench, he immediately helped Golden State go on a 21-5 run.

From there, Steve Kerr’s team never slowed down. They extended the gap to 10 points at the end of the second half before creating an advantage of up to 31 points in the next half.

Joining the Warriors’ collective excitement, captain Stephen Curry had his usual “hot hand” in the third quarter when he scored 13 points in the quarter. Throughout the match, Curry had 20 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 4 successful 3-pointers.
