Roxanne Perez retains the NXT Women’s Championship with the help of Cora Jade.

Giulia made the most of her first championship match in WWE NXT, but in the end, she came up short and lost to Roxanne Perez in an NXT Women’s Championship bout on the October 1 edition of WWE NXT.

The closing sequence of the bout had fans up in arms, as Cora Jade made her shocking return to NXT and dropped Giulia with a DDT on the floor. This allowed Perez to hit Giulia with a second Pop Rox to pick up to the pinfall victory.

After the finish the bout, Cora Jade took off her mask and seemingly surprised Roxanne Perez.

With the loss, Giulia is no longer undefeated in NXT. The international star began a winning streak after defeating Chelsea Green on the September 10 edition of the show.
