Brie Danielson, the twin sister of Nikki Garcia, posted a cryptic message on Instagram Wednesday, shortly after Artem Chigvintsev, Nikki’s ex-husband, was cleared of domestic violence charges.

The timing of the post, which referenced “lies,” has raised speculation, although Chigvintsev was not directly mentioned.

“The truth always comes out in the end, no matter how hard anyone tries to hide it or stop it,” read the post.

“Lies are just a temporary delay to the inevitable.”

Brie later noted that the quote came from a Facebook group dedicated to understanding narcissistic personality disorder. Despite not naming Chigvintsev, the post came just hours before he publicly addressed his arrest and the dismissal of the charges.

Chigvintsev, a former Dancing with the Stars pro, spoke out on the situation for the first time after being cleared.

“I am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped,” he said in a statement to E! News.

“This has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed.”

Chigvintsev was arrested on August 29 following a domestic dispute at his home in Napa, California.

While it remains unclear if Nikki was the alleged victim, a 911 call revealed she had been involved in an argument with her ex just before the incident. Their 4-year-old son, Matteo, was present at the time.

Chigvintsev emphasized that his primary concern has always been his son, Matteo.

“My focus has always been and will always be on him,” he explained.

Nikki, 40, filed for divorce from Chigvintsev on September 11, just two weeks after his arrest.

Chigvintsev‘s lawyer, Ilona Antonyan, also released a statement, expressing confidence in her client’s innocence.

“My understanding of the facts surrounding the 8/29/24 incident leads me to conclude that Artem was not the primary aggressor,” Antonyan said.

“Even under the family court’s preponderance of evidence standard, I believe that to be true.”

Chigvintsev and Nikki met while filming Dancing with the Stars in 2019 and later married in August 2022.

The couple welcomed their son, Matteo, on July 31, 2020. Although neither Nikki nor Brie has commented publicly on the incident in detail, Brie‘s cryptic message has led to speculation about ongoing tensions.
