PORTLAND, OREGON: NBA star Aaron Gordon’s older brother Drew Gordon, 33, died in a car accident in Portland, Oregon on Thursday, May 30.
Drew’s agent Calvin Andrews has confirmed his death to the outlet as per ESPN.
“Former NBA forward Drew Gordon, the brother of Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon, died in a car accident in Portland, Ore., today, his agent Calvin Andrews confirmed to ESPN Andscape. The San Jose native who played at UCLA and New Mexico was 33 years old,” tweeted sports writer Marc J Spears.
Drew Gordon extensively played basketball in Europe
Drew played nine games for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2014-2015 season. He was from San Jose, California, who went on to play for G League, Serbia, Sardinia, Turkey, France, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and three teams in Russia.
The highlight of his overseas career was being named an All-Star in France in 2015. Drew retired from basketball in 2023.
He is survived by his wife Angela, and three children.
