Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka were crowned king and queen of New York thanks to their US Open wins.
Sinner left his coach Darren Cahill emotional after his final victory over Taylor Fritz at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens.
And Sabalenka was praised by her coach Gavin MacMillan after defeating Jessica Pegula at the same venue.
Both players finished their major years exactly how they started them, with the pair having also won the Australian Open.
Sabalenka remains second in the WTA rankings despite the success, behind Iga Swiatek, with Sinner still top of the ATP pile following his unstoppable run at the US Open.
Ranking points and silverware were at stake at Flushing Meadows, as was the small matter of prize money.
The 2024 earnings of both winners have now emerged after their latest Grand Slam successes, with Sinner leading the way on $10.59million (£8.09million) in tournament winnings, as per Sportico.
Sabalenka meanwhile sits in third place with $7.98million in year-to-date prize money, behind second-placed Carlos Alcaraz on $8.16million.
Sinner and Sabalenka each earned $3.6million and $2.1million for their US Open and Australian Open wins respectively.
The Italian world number one leads the way thanks to a stunning season that involves winning all six of his finals made.
Two of those wins were Grand Slams, with third-placed Sabalenka adding only the Cincinnati Open trophy to her two major wins.
Alcaraz meanwhile emerged victorious at the French Open and Wimbledon, with fellow Roland Garros champion Iga Swiatek fourth in the earnings list with $7.52million.
Alexander Zverev completes the top five, with the German’s total prize money for 2024 so far sitting at $6.29million.
The top stars of the game have another chance to add to their totals when the ATP Tour Finals and WTA Tour Finals arrive in November.
