Carlos Alcaraz has enjoyed a stunning tennis career so far, with four Grand Slam titles to his name at the age of just 21.
Alcaraz has really impressed Rafael Nadal, with the former having won all four of his Grand Slam finals so far.
Two of those major successes have come in 2024, with Alcaraz winning the French Open and Wimbledon.
The youngster is now in Riyadh for the inaugural Six Kings Slam, having set up a semi-final tie with Nadal after overcoming Holger Rune.
Alcaraz already boasts 16 ATP Tour titles, with the world number two certain to continue winning many trophies in the years to come.
And in a real worry to many other players, another Alcaraz is now emerging, with footage of Carlos’ younger brother Jaime recently emerging.
Tennis fans have compared Jaime to Carlos, but that hasn’t gone down well with the four-time Grand Slam champion.
As relayed by Carlos Alcaraz Daily, the 21-year-old said of his 13-year-old brother: “He plays well. He is getting to a really good level.
“But, honestly, there is a lot of people around. A lot of accounts on social media who are saying that he is going to be like his brother, he is the same as his brother. I don’t really like that in a way.
“I want all the social media just to leave it alone, because he plays well but he’s not the best so I am a little bit worried for the people who around him during the tournament are going to watch him as he’s my brother and putting pressure on.
“Let’s see how he is going to handle it. I am going to be there, for sure. He loves tennis and every time he asks my father to go to the court and hits balls.
“For me that’s great he loves tennis. He is getting better and better and hopefully one year I will play against him.”
Given Carlos’ rapid rise to the very top, it would be foolish to rule out his younger brother Jaime enjoying a similar climb.
But aged just 13, there shouldn’t be any pressure placed on his young shoulders, with tennis fans needing to appreciate Carlos for the time being.
The Spaniard has four titles to his name this season alone, boasting a superb 51-10 win-loss record so far.
He can’t overtake fellow star Jannik Sinner in the year-end rankings, but there is still plenty to play for before the year concludes.
The 2025 Australian Open will then arrive, with the Melbourne competition the only Grand Slam that Alcaraz has yet to win.
Two Wimbledon titles have gone his way, with the world number two winning one French Open and one US Open.
