After signing with the WWE in 202, Ava has made a name for herself in the promotion as a member of the faction SCHISM. Following weeks of serving as the on-screen assistant to WWE legend and Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.

The 22-year-old transitioned into the youngest NXT General Manager during the latest episode of the show. Following the announcement she took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her excitement about the position.

“It’s official now. Welcome to a new era of NXT from the youngest GM in WWE history.” The tweet was accompanied by a confident and proud emoji.

She also took the chance to show her gratitude towards the outgoing General Manager William Regal. The new GM voiced her appreciation for the veteran’s support.’

The youngest general manager of WWE NXT is the daughter of WWE legend and Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. She is the daughter of The Rock and Garcia from their marriage between 1997-2008.

The fourth-generation wrestler from the iconic Anoa’i family has carved her own path in the promotion while continuing her family’s legacy.

Ava’s mother Dany Garcia took to her Instagram to write a heartful message to her daughter on her recent achievement.

Garcia wrote, “MY DAUGHTER, like many Cuban women that came before her, embodies evolving strength. She has learned to show up powerfully and has cultivated her confidence, allowing her to carve her own path, and most impressively, take up space and speak her mind – Attributes that have served her well as the youngest General Manager in @WWENXT history.” “I am endlessly proud of my daughter, along with her fellow Gen Z Latinos (1 in 4 of all Gen Z!) who are fearlessly shaping our futures and advocating for others in the process.”  “What’s been something your Gen Z kids or employees have taught you? I’m fascinated!” She concluded.

Johnson during an appearance on The Pivot podcast last year discussed the relationship he has with his daughter.

“I had [Ava] when I was young, in my twenties, So when I had Simone, I was flying by the seat of my pants. I was wrestling full-time, I started transitioning into movies full-time, I had so much sh*t going on.”

I like to say that me and Simone grew up together, but we had a relationship where I was always gone, and we tried to keep it together. Now, years later, as she becomes a pro wrestler, it’s actually brought us closer together.” The Rock explained.

Ava’s appointment as NXT’s General Manager kickstarted a new era in the NXT. The appointment has generated immense excitement among fans as they’re eager to see what the WWE has in store for the fourth-generation wrestler.

The combination of her lineage along with her promising career trajectory sets the stage for a compelling era in the NXT.
