Jason Kelce went to great lengths to prove he wasn’t sleeping while at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in Miami on Friday.

During the latest installment of his and Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, the Chiefs tight end, who’s been dating Swift since last summer, called out Jason for appearing to take a nap while sitting in a private suite at Hard Rock Stadium on Friday — and Jason revealed receipts.

It all started when Jason’s former Eagles teammate Beau Allen, who attended the show with him, shared a photo of the future Hall of Fame center appearing to be asleep in his seat.

“It’s the greatest show that’s ever been on stage and you’re over here falling asleep?” Travis asked.

Jason then explained he wasn’t sleeping and was instead taking a beat in his seat because he felt like he was “in a fish bowl” with so many people watching him while at the concert.

“The amount of energy was insane. It was so exciting,” Jason said. “But back to this photo. I’m going to give a little background to this. So, Kylie is holding Elliotte [their daughter]. Ellie was just with me, we were dancing and I was sitting down so I’m on the same level with her, and we’re out in the middle of the open right here, and we brought a bunch of people to the show… and mom [Donna Kelce] went for the first time.

“We go out there and we realize like I’m in the middle of the open, it isn’t like a box that’s enclosed. So I’m like, I’m going to sit down… I felt like I’m standing, I’m holding Ellie, feel like I’m kind of in a fish bowl, everybody’s staring at me, so I sit down. I’m dancing with Ellie, Ellie goes over to Kylie, and then I’m just sitting here and feeling it, and I’m tapping my thigh, and I’m just in the moment listening to the song and then, all of the sudden, I go on Twitter [now X] and I see this f–king picture. I’m like dude, what the f–k?

“I’m not sleeping and I can prove it to you. There’s evidence in this photo that I’m not sleeping.”

But Travis wasn’t buying it.

That’s when Jason asked their podcast producer, Jets Jake, to pull up the photo.

“Jets Jake, zoom in on my right hand, and make sure Travis sees this — my hand is hovering, you can’t sleep with your hand hovering above your knee,” Jason said. “It’s impossible. I can’t sleep with my eyes open, much less my hand hovering, because I’m slapping my legs… this is one of my favorite parts about the show, cause the mist of the rain, it had just started to get into my face, Elliotte was with mom so I’m like, okay, I’m just sitting here, tapping my leg and I’m just in the moment.”

Travis said he had “FOMO” over missing Swift’s Miami show, as the Chiefs had a game against the 49ers on the West Coast on Sunday.

Kansas City is 6-0 after a 28-18 victory over San Fransisco.
