Newly signed Orlando Magic guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s wife, McKenzie Caldwell-Pope, shared details about their son Kendrix’s health while giving a sneak peek into their Halloween preparations. On Thursday, she uploaded an Instagram story featuring Kendrix wearing a slightly blood-stained shirt as he mentioned they needed more decorations.
McKenzie provided context in the caption.
“Oh nothing just Kendrix telling me we need more decorations,” McKenzie captioned her IG story. “Please excuse his shirt, he gets nose bleeds often and today was one of those days 🩸”

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and McKenzie have been together since 2013, marrying in 2016, and are parents to four children. The couple is expecting another addition to their family in December, having announced that they are expecting their fifth child with a post on Instagram in June that featured a black-and-white photoshoot of them in Italy.
“Adding another chapter to our love story Baby number 5 coming December 2024,” McKenzie captioned the post.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s wife took to Instagram on Thursday to give a gist into what she’s doing to prepare for Halloween. McKenzie elaborated that the family has yet to move into their home and is currently staying at a rented house, because of which her decorations are packed.
“It is October 3rd and my children have reminded me that we have not decorated for fall yet,” McKenzie said. “Mind you, we don’t move into our home until the end of October, we’re renting, so all of my seasonal stuff is packed. I went to Home Goods to get some pumpkins so my kids can see some decorations around this house because they said, ‘Mommy this not routine, this is not normal.'”
She followed the Instagram story with another story that featured her giving a heads-up to her sons’ future partners, citing that she has set the bar high.
“I’m sorry but I’m not sorry for whoever my kids marry. The bar is high, the expectation is high. Good luck girlies.”
Last week, Kentavious Caldwell Pope’s wife announced with an Instagram post that their fifth child due in December is a boy.
